This is the space we have been renovating into the hosts’ suite.
The Suite Of Dreams
The views from this suite are incredible, once we complete the renovations it will be an amazing space to reside and possibly also rent.
The Before Picture
When we acquired the Jardin much of the bamboo in this incomplete structure was severely damaged by termites and the palm roof material was rotting.
Work In Progress
We removed the palm roof and replaced the bamboo structure with local hardwoods ( Zapan & Moncorro), then installed canvas.
A FEW VERSIONS LATER…
After several attempts with different canvas materials that were sold to us as “impermeable” we’ve removed the canvas and replaced it with green roofing panels.
